I live to USA, state Utah. Is married to an American. To me 22 years. In America 1.5 years. Is at us small son which was born 3 months back. To my husband 24 years. He studies at university at faculty of computer sciences. Now I do not work and I do not study. Now I - MUM. Earlier lived in Ukraine, in city of Kharkov - famous for its Ukraine brides. First, as well as all children, went to school, then has acted to study in Legal academy and was going be the great public prosecutor. Has studied 4 years, has married an American and has left for America. Now I live in state Utah, in city of Ogden. How it has turned out?
We have got acquainted with my husband in Jesus Christ's church of sacred last Days (mormons). I was a member of church, and he - the missioner. To the that moment he served on mission more year and, by the way, already very well spoke Russian. To tell the truth, at the first meeting we have not made any impression against each other. In addition, he was on mission, and missionaries cannot be engaged in love affairs. And at both of us any romantic feelings have not arisen. There was time so it turned out, that because of church activity we met frequently rather frequently. And by the end of his mission (has passed about one year) first attributes of love have begun.
But we and were not explained, while Endy were in Kharkov. And have told about the feelings in letters. I have received the first letter approximately in one month after his departure home. We corresponded about one year. Then, in the summer, Endy has arrived to me to Kharkov. Have lead fine 3 weeks together. For the third day of the arrival my love has offered me a hand and heart. I have agreed, and we have started to think of, when and where us to marry. To us have advised, that it will be easier to receive for me the visa in USA if it will be the visa of the bride. We and have made. And we have begun from this moment hardship on registration of all documents. Process have begun in October 1999, and I have received the visa in April 2000. As well as all Ukraine brides, on interview went to Warsaw. I from Ukraine have arrived to Poland, and my future husband has arrived from America. In Warsaw we were 3 days, have received the visa and have parted in the different sides. In spite of the fact that went on interview to consulate, our time which has been carried out in Warsaw together, remain unforgettable. It was very romantic meeting. For someone Paris - city of love, and for us with the husband such city - Warsaw.
So, we have left again, but this time, on short term. In one month I have arrived to USA. And July, 1, 2000 we married in temple Salt Lake City. To live to the emigrant it is uneasy, but if beside the favourite person who supports, and helps in everything so to live not bad. I have compared crossing to other country to new birth. New familiar, the new country, new customs, culture, language. It is necessary anew to all to study. It is good, that my husband knows Russian. It very much helped me in the beginning and now too. At home, basically, we speak in Russian. Sometimes - in English when I want to raise a level knowledge of language. My husband so has got used to communicate with me in Russian, that it is hard for him to speak houses in English. The house and family is small islet my Native land where I can speak in the language and know, that here me I realize.
And now I shall pass actually to Christmas. Somewhere for one month preparation for this holiday begins. Everyone decorate the houses with small lamps, houses put a fur-tree, hang up different ornaments. On the TV, radio is advertised with celebratory sales. But not it is pleasant to me. I like that.
Day prior to Christmas in family of my husband all relatives gather and make the dramatized representation of birth of Jesus. Certainly, all are dressed in suits: (Maria, Joseph, angels, wise men etc.). The family sings christmas hymns, and after that - supper, and then dialogue with each other, different games. Some families this evening help any requiring. For example, choose poor family and secretly bring under doors gifts, call, and then escape, something like "Timur and his team".
In the early Christmas morning the most younger member of family wakes everyone to open gifts. Everyone go to a fur-tree, find them and open, and, all over again opens the one who is most younger and so the turn goes up to the grown-up. After that everyone sit down the big christmas celebratory table. One more feature of Utah - small lamps on the temple area in Salt Lake City. A show tremendous.
I apologize for possible mistakes. Now I study to write letters with the child sitting on hands. He teaches mum how to make some things simultaneously.
