But in practice the process of divorce in the USA is not as easy as in Russia. If a woman wants to return, as a rule, she is not allowed to take her child out. The western legislation provides to men equal rights with women on rising generation.
The only way to leave a child with his mother is a court. But Russian women usually lose such cases because they don't have any legal consciousness. They want to put psychological pressure upon the judges with hysterics and tears. It usually gives the result returned to the expected.
The problem of the marriage migration is closely connected to a problem of a woman trade, IZVESTIA reports. When a woman leaves her home hoping to find a better life abroad she can appear in a brothel, in practice. It happens more often if a woman is sent there to earn money as a dancer or nurse. Nobody knows the real number of slaves, because not all of them have a chance to run away. Then they usually come to the Russian consulates, but they sometimes help and sometimes not. They can hear the words like: "It's your own problem, you don't have your documents (women's passports are usually selected) and you knew, what you were required for".
People's trade today is not a criminal offence because of absence of such concept in the Criminal Code. But some measures to protect Russian women from the crime of such kind are taken today. Soon women will have the possibility to address in court with their problems.
