Who is looking for overseas fiancés and how do they do it? The staff of international marriage agencies distinguishes between several kinds of mail order brides. Some of them are young ladies who like to dream, some are materialistic carnivores, some are musty divorcees, and some are just pretty and outgoing. The majority of Ukrainian mail order brides comprises women from 25 to 35 years old, living in Kiev or other major Ukrainian cities, with a university or college degree, working. Most of them had a bad experience with establishing their private lives, many have a child.

Some people think that looking for happiness abroad is the destiny of the young. Not necessarily. Of course, the overseas fiancé does his best to ensure that his chosen one would be as young as possible. However, even those in their fifties and sixties keep looking for their other halves. According to a stout fifty-year-old Ukrainian woman, who worked as a maid in Italy for two years (and who has found a partner there), the Italian "signori with gray temples" are nothing like the older men at home. They are lively, neat, gallant, quite well-to-do, well-dressed, and, what is no less important, do not abuse alcohol.

That is why even the older women should not give up hope to become mail order brides. You should write in your profile that you are looking for a man over 50 years of age. These men would have already raised their children, and they do not need any more. They are also looking for women "over forty". Everything would work out well. Just remember that you need to be mild and calm, they have enough troublesome and touchy women at home.
